Scammers use many tactics to steal your money and personal information by pretending to offer cruise ship jobs. To help you avoid falling victim, please be aware of the following warning signs:

• Some scammers send fake job offers by email, then ask for detailed personal background information through fake job applications to use for criminal purposes.

• You do not need an immigration lawyer or a Green Card to work onboard. Scammers might send fake employment contracts and later ask for passport copies plus money for immigration lawyers — this is not required or legal.
